Location: Alwajh, Red Sea (Region: Duba)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Inspector for an on-site position in Alwajh, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of mechanical construction projects and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Job Description: Mechanical Inspector Job in Saudi Arabia KSA

• Develop and implement project inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Conduct field inspections and tests according to project schedules.
• Review complex drawings to verify compliance with scope, codes, and standards.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work for contracted inspectors.
• Conduct test pits and ensure proper routing of underground placements to avoid disruption of site activities.
• Ensure safety measures such as barriers, signboards, and warning signs are in place.
• Supervise backfilling and compaction activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and other project stakeholders.
• Manage site operations, including workforce supervision and subcontractor oversight.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Develop method statements for project activities.
• Collaborate with consultants and site representatives to address quality issues.
• Resolve technical difficulties and unforeseen problems.
• Prepare and submit required reports.
• Manage punch lists, MDRs, and installation documentation.
• Ensure contractual requirements are met during construction.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
• Inspect installation and construction of Outside Plant (OSP) cables, manholes, conduits, and internal building distribution systems.
• Review splicing and testing of cable systems.
• Review test data for cable and ground measurements.

Requirements: Mechanical Inspector Job in Saudi Arabia KSA

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in mechanical construction inspection.
• Strong knowledge of project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to solve technical problems and make decisions.
• Understanding of quality control processes.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
