The Assistant Engineer will work closely with the Operations Manager, providing technical and operational support across all areas of construction projects. This role requires a hands-on, results-driven individual who is well-versed in all aspects of construction management, including site coordination, project execution, and contractor management. The Assistant Engineer will ensure that work is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality, while maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations. This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

1. Support to Operations Manager:

• Assist the Operations Manager in day-to-day management and oversight of construction projects.
• Provide technical and operational input to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
• Ensure that project milestones, deadlines, and quality standards are met according to company policies.

2. Field Supervision and Coordination:

• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring that teams follow construction plans and specifications.
• Maintain regular communication with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure that work on-site is conducted according to schedules and resolves any issues or delays promptly.

3. Quality Control and Problem Solving:

• Monitor ongoing work to ensure adherence to quality standards and construction guidelines.
• Identify and address any technical issues or construction challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Assist in implementing solutions to ensure that all work is done correctly and efficiently, without compromising quality or safety.
