Description:

An Accountant is urgently needed for a construction company in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company, including preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Analyze financial data and create financial reports for management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain and update accounting systems and databases.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure financial integrity.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of numerical data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
