Planning and Billing Engineer-Civil For Commercial Building Project

We are looking for a skilled Planning & Billing Engineer specializing in building construction projects to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The Planning Engineer will play a crucial role in developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines, ensuring the successful and timely completion of our building projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management software.

*Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
• 2. Create and update project plans that outline the sequence of activities required to complete construction projects on time and within budget.
• 3. Estimate resources (including manpower, equipment, and materials) needed for project execution.
• 4. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on deviations from plans.
• 5. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve scheduling issues and optimize project timelines.
• 6. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress and ensure adherence to schedule.
• 7. Analyse project data to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• 8. Prepare periodic progress reports, presentations, and dashboards for project stakeholders.
• 9. Participate in project meetings and provide input on schedule-related matters.
• 10. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.

*Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering,
• 2. Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in building construction projects.
• 3. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
• 4. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• 5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• 6. Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PSP) is a plus.
• 7. Experience working on large-scale building projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
