We are hiring Quality Manager

Job Summary:

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality control systems and processes to ensure the consistent production of safe, compliant, and high-quality food products. The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and work closely with production, procurement, and other departments to uphold the company’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee comprehensive quality control procedures, including inspection, testing, and documentation, to monitor product quality at all stages of production
• Develop and continuously improve quality management systems and programs to meet or exceed industry, regulatory, and customer requirements
• Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to perform their duties effectively
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and other teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
• Conduct regular internal audits and manage external audits and inspections to maintain compliance with food safety regulations, such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards
• Analyze quality data, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to senior management to support data-driven decision-making
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food quality and safety, and implement strategic changes as needed
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and regulatory agencies regarding quality-related matters and represent the company’s quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, quality management, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing industry
• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, advanced quality control methods, and comprehensive quality management systems
• Proven track record of implementing successful quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in data analysis, statistical process control, and report generation
• Certification in HACCP, LEAN, Six Sigma, or other relevant quality management methodologies is highly desirable
